Michael Richardson - October 11th, 2023
Gibbie was one of my best friends in high school. He was always upbeat and funny, a joy to be around. We were to be roommates in college, at Wingate College, and instead I was a pall bearer at his funeral. I still miss him, and the good times we would have had at college.
Michael Staley - May 20th, 2022
Gibbie was not adopted.  The Bowen's adopted a young boy a while after his death so that must be the confusion here.  Gibbie is still greatly missed after these 50+ years.  He was my cousin, and I was 9 years old when he was killed due the negligence of another.  This  happened during the summer after his high school graduation.  He was still 17 and would have been 18 in August when he started to college.
Myra Brown-Clodfelter - October 10th, 2018
Gibby was such a good guy. He left us way too soon.
