HIGH POINT...Sharon Marie Johnson Carter of High Point, North Carolina passed on July 5, 2005. She had been sick for several years and fought a hard battle with melanoma cancer.
Sharon Marie Johnson was born 12/11/1950, as the second child to Noah and Joyce Johnson of High Point. She was a 1969 graduate of High Point Central High School.
Sharon married James Milton Carter. They later divorced.
Sharon was an executive secretary for The Alderman Co.
Sharon was survived by her parents Joyce and Noah Johnson, an older sister Pam Leland and younger brother Gerald Johnson, his wife Angie and two special nieces, Megan and Morgan Johnson.
Sharon will be greatly missed.

Sharon, I miss your wit and everything about you. We were close friends after high school but drifted apart when I got married and moved away. Your family was so generous. You got your parents to agree to let me move in for awhile and we had some really fun times! Double dating, playing our music, going to the beach. Yes, happy memories! I miss you, funny girl!
